When I first started coming to Nubian Natural Hair Gallery I had a fresh perm and was frustrated after being told that I could no longer have a perm because of a scalp condition. I had given going natural a thought but was angry at having to be forced into it. Itohan was the ultimate professional. She was honest about the processand how long it would take to get my hair and scalp back on track. I put my hair in her hands and have not regretted it since. She cares about my hair and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable with what she is doing and how she is doing it.
I never thought I would get used to having no perm in my
hair. For so long long straight and managable has been
my
motto (I have extremely thick hair when not permed) and to
not have that motto anymore is amazing. I can honestly say
